I also have a youtube account which is www.youtube.com/ozz3ak. Youtube is a different beast compared to wordpress. Youtube is solely created to upload video as its main purpose. Its become so popular that there are practically billions of videos posted on youtube. Videos ranging from documentaries, live concert footage, cooking demonstrations, public opinions to videos of natural phenomena and many more. I use youtube to promote my music so that viewers will know what I am musically capable of. Since I also teach bass guitar, I can then use the videos to give potential students some demos of what I’m capable of- giving a rough image of myself as a musician and also as a teacher at the same time. My youtube page does not have any fancy decorations- for instance customised background. That is because I believe that most people only cares about the videos being posted. People don’t normally visit youtube user sites unless they want to subscribe. I can also comment and rate other user’s videos when I’m logged in. And in music context, youtube has personally taught me how to play certain song by watching videos of other people playing the song. I not only want to watch and learn, but also to contribute and share my videos as well so that I may help whoever out there who needs to learn certain songs. That is why I emphasised my videos on my bass and my fingers. It makes people a lot easier to watch and learn where on my fret board am I playing at. Below is a link to my youtube page.
